Hawker's Delight

This past weekend I was craving some Thai/Malaysian food so we decided to head to Hawker’s Delight on Main. I ordered the Mee Siam which consisted of thin rice noodles in sweet, sour and spicy peanut soya bean tamarind gravy with tofu puffs, egg, chives and bean sprouts. This was pretty much a vegetarian dish. It was tasty in flavor but not spicy at all or sour. Huge portions though. We also had the Mee Goreng which consisted of spicy fried noodles with egg, bean sprouts, onions, tomatoes, tofu, diced potatoes. This dish was great. Lots of “wok flavor” which I love when it comes to Asian foods. We also shared a Dr. Pepper cherry pop and vegetable fritters and the whole receipt came up to be about $18.00 for 2 people. A great quick meal in a crowded space. The area is quite small. It is meant for an in and out setting. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely come back here to try other different dishes.
