This past Sunday me and bf went to Grouse Mountain for some snowboarding action. The weather report said there was 60 cm of fresh snow on the mountain. We got to Grouse about 4pm because my bf had a pass that gives him free access after 4. I had to unfortunately pay so I paid about $50 for the lift ticket and gondola ride. And another $50 for renting snowboard, helmet, bindings and boots. The weather unfortunately was super stormy. The wind was around 90 km/hr. It was snowing quite heavily and only the green runs were open. It has been quite a while since I boarded so it was ok for me to have just that run open for me. But for bf it was probably quite boring for him since he was an experienced rider. Overall, it was quite hard to see, visibility wise it was hard for me and I was scared as well. So I didn’t have a good time boarding. I crashed and burn a few times on the mountain and after 3 times down the slope I had to go home. Hopefully next time would be a better experience for me.
