Bikram Hot Yoga
So this month I decided to try hot yoga for the very first
time. I did a trial class for $20.00 in Richmond just to make sure I can handle
the heat while doing poses and I was fine. So I decided to upgrade to a monthly
pass of $39.00. I am in my 5th class of yoga and it feels great. I’m
trying to stretch the muscles I don’t usually stretch on a regular basis and I’m
trying to live a heathier lifestyle. The heat can sometimes fluctuate from
class to class but overall I feel better and my body is accepting the heat. My favorite
instructor so far is Victoria. She is very helpful by going around to each
student making sure they are doing the right poses. I wish I was in her class
all time but different days and times have different instructors and it really
depends on my schedule to see which time best fits my schedule for drop ins. I
usually go Friday, Saturday and Sundays. And hopefully I will make it to 14
classes. Overall, I great experience for beginners looking for another
alternative for getting more fit besides going to the gym. My goal is to master
all the poses through the month trial.

Tojo's
Happy 6th Anniversary to me and my hunny! On
Tuesday December 1st he took me out for dinner at Tojo’s to
celebrate our anniversary. He surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers
and we headed straight to Broadway for our meal. We partook of the Omakase
experience, which was basically the chef choices of the day prepared in 6
courses. We first partook of the Tojo’s Tuna Chef’s Signature Dish which
consisted of tuna sashimi with special sesame and wasabi sauce on top of local
wild albacore tuna with ponzu sauce.
We then had the tempura which was west coast dungeness crab
leg, okra, and yam.
For the sushi selection we had the Hamachi yellow tail,
sardine topped with ginger and green onion, tai red snapper, we had a piece of
the pacific northwest which consisted of Dungeness crab with avocado, scallop
and fish roe on top, The Golden which consisted of crab, scallop, wild pacific
salmon, sweet shrimp rolled in an egg crepe with fish roe on top, we had a
piece of sushi which was rolled in a cucumber roll with deep fried tuna, yam
with asparagus inside.
Overall, the meal was ok. It wasn’t spectacular or anything.
I think we just enjoyed too much food elsewhere. So we had a lot of experiences
to compare to. I enjoyed the rest of the night just me and him cuddling and
spending time together, embracing our moment and reminiscing of how long it’s
been. Played some monopoly and sent him home to rest for the rest of the work
week.
