Our company had received 30% discount on regular and sale items from the Nike Factory store so we decided to check it out at the McArthurGlen Vancouver outlet in Richmond. We went in couldn't find anything. I really wanted a new pair of workout running shoes but nope nothing. So we saw Hugo's Churros and decided to get a Churro ice cream sandwich. It took about 10 mins to make which I enjoyed because knowing the fact that it was freshly made, made it even better. We wanted to try the tacos but they were out of chicken, veggie AND pork....wow they definitely need a restock. It wasn't busy when we went after work. I believe the churro ice cream sandwich was about $7.45 quite costly but something we don't eat often so why not? It came out nice and hot. The outside was crunchy but the inside was a little too soft for my liking. It was a little doughy. Overall, a great snack but not something I will order over and over again for the price.

My Toan
Did a little shopping at Oakridge this past weekend and I stopped by My Toan at the food court for some pho. I ordered the hot and sour chicken noodle soup. I was craving tom yum flavors again and I tried to order something similar. The order came out to be not as hot and sour as I had hope. The noodles they use weren't pho noodles but vermicelli thin noodles so I was quite disappointed. The was nice. Comforting and warm during the hot weather it still felt nice in the mall ac. The chicken pieces though were the worse in the dish. Dry and hard and tasteless. I didn't even bother eating them I just left it on the side of my tray. Overall, the portions was large enough for me to be full. I will probably stick to the regular pho there. The price was $7.25 plus tax for a large.

TMix Tea & Dessert Bar
Yesterday after our BBQ at Jericho we decided to grab some dessert to end of the night. We were going to head to Rain or Shine but we saw a new bbtea place that opened nearby so we decided to try here instead. Each couple had the 16 oz Hazelnut Hot Chocolate. This was a little to sweet for my liking and to top it off they had the colorful marshmallows on top which I wasn't a fan of. We all shared a Banana Creme Brulee Egg Puff. There wasn't much egg flavor to the egg puffs but the egg puff texture was alright. I usually like mine crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They also aired out the puffs too long near the fan so it wasn't hot and toasty which I like it. The reason is probably because they didn't want the whipped cream on top to melt over the puff. They had torched the bananas on top and also added frozen creme brulee pieces. This was good not overly sweet which I liked. Overall, an alright place to go to but the prices are quite high. My apologies for no pictures on this posting but phone died of the heat at the beach.
