BC Interior Trip

Last Friday, bf decided to go visit his grandma in Rossland BC. So, he drove me to my place to pack my bag for a 4 day trip...later we headed over to his place so he can grab his stuff. We started off going towards taking the Trans-Canada Hwy to Abbotsford then we passed Chilliwack then to Hope taking Crowsnest Hwy passed Sunshine Valley-Manning Park-Princeton-Hedley-Cawston-Osoyoos-Greenwood-Grand Forks-Castlegar and made it to our destination in 7 1/2 hours to Rossland. We stopped for gas and also for breakfast and lunch, we also saw many animals on the way there (sheeps, cows, horses, birds etc.) It was a definitely long drive for bf but we finally made it. We were glad to see Auntie Linda and Uncle Bruce and of course grandma. Grandma wasn't doing so well but we were glad to make the long trip there to see her. We cooked her a meal of veggie stir-fry with rice and of course some Butternut Squash soup. We enjoyed our stay there and we had a great time enjoying the weather and the hospitality we received in Rossland.

Only pizza place in Rossland "Misty Mountain Pizza" It was scrumptiously delicious!

HML Seafood Restaurant

This past Victoria day I went out for dim sum with the family in Richmond and my mom decided to try this dim sum place out. The prices were quite high compared to your cheaper dim sum restaurants that charges around $2.75 per dish. This place charges at least $4 per dish. Overall, the food was alright, a lot of their entrees you could taste the MSG but overall the food wasn't too bad. The place was bustling with people maybe because it was a holiday.

My New Favorite!

Me and my bf usually go by the frozen section of Superstore to buy ice cream and we happen to purchase the PC Blue Menu Frozen Yogurt Vanilla flavour. It is one of the best purchases we have ever made at Superstore and we are highly addicted to it. It is low in fat and made with natural vanilla extract and yogurt cultures. And it's only 3 dollars! This yogurt has now replaced ice cream for me because the yogurt is very similar to ice cream with its rich and creamy textures. Its one of the best I had so far compared to Haagen-Dazs. A great combination is with fresh cubes of mango or even lychee from a can or you can add a crunch to it and add your favorite cereal. Try it out you won't be disappointed!
