House of Tofu Soup

The weather is getting colder so we decided to grab some soup on North Road. We headed to house of tofu soup. The parking is super limited around this area so be warned. I think its about 5-6 car parking spots. Once we got in the place was way bigger then expected. It doesn't look like it from the front. The place was busy around 8pm. The place closes at 9:30pm on Friday. I ordered the kimchi stew with pork and bf had the tofu soup with pork I believe but extra spicy. The sides were alright. My favorite was the mashed potatoes which was creamy and subtle in flavor. Simple yet delicious and the seaweed. The kimchi was made fresh too which I like not overly powering in vinegar and nice and crunchy. I loved the flavor of bf's soup but it was quite small compared to mine but mine was too sour and I most definitely make a better kimchi stew at home. Overall, a simple meal but I probably will just make it at home the next time.
