We went to visit Granville Island this past weekend and I
decided to have some macarons from Bon Macaron. I had the 6 pack for $9.00. I
tried Basil Pineapple, Sake, Papaya Mango, Blackcurrant, Chocolate Pear, Cherry
Vanilla. My favorite was the papaya mango. It was slightly tarte but I prefer
the fruity flavors when I eat macarons. The basil was too strong in the pineapple
one; sake is my bf’s choice. I don’t like alcoholic flavors in my food.
Blackcurrant was good, chocolate pear was too chocolatey from the darkness of the
coco. And the cherry flavor wasn’t dominating enough. Overall, tasty treats for
an expensive price tag.
