R&H Chinese Food

After watching Mike Chen on Youtube. I wanted to check this place out. Located in Lansdowne mall in Richmond food court. We went on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 pm and the place was bustling with people. We ordered the soup dumplings, pan fried chives dumplings, and the beef roll.

Everything came out hot and fresh. The soup dumpling were delicious. Equal ratio of meat to skin. There was a least 2 spoonfuls of soup inside each dumpling. The soup was delicious. Hearty and full of flavour.

The pan fried chive dumplings were good as well. But I prefer a lot of chives flavour which it was missing and I wanted my dumpling more pan fried. To have the smokiness of the grill. The skin was thick but it was chewy and soft.

The beef roll was the downfall of this place. The beef was chewy and impossible to chew. To much fat to the meat and it was overcooked. The flavour were there but the beef was way to hard to eat.

Overall, a great place to go. Not much of a wait. No tip. And a cheaper option for what you can get at the restaurants.
